Hello Medical Alumni!

We hope 2020 is off to a great start for you.

Inside Insight
After enjoying the holiday break, students are back at it as classes and activities are in full swing. This is what they have been up to since their return to campus:

  • The new year brought first-year students a new block of classes – the organ systems. They kicked off the Brain Sciences block with Neuroanatomy and will tackle one organ system at a time until the end of their second year.
  • Planning for their final year of medical school is well underway for third-year students as they schedule when they will take the required national board exams, and, more excitingly, think about the choices they have for electives next year.
  • While fourth-year students wait to see where they have officially matched, they are winding up any last-minute interviews and thinking about ranking the institutions where they would like to spend the next stop on their medical journey. To prepare for that, they are taking an Internship Prep Course which was started last year to better prepare students to transition from classroom to exam room.
