RESEARCH TO IMPROVE LIVES

Team and translational sciences are thriving at Brown. The Brown Institute for Translational Sciences (BITS) is creating a home for talented disease-focused faculty and philanthropy is playing a major role in its establishment and growth. Whether their efforts are focused on developing an innovative method to grow living cells in three dimensions, providing cutting-edge clinical cancer trials, creating vaccines for some of the world’s worst infectious diseases, or addressing the ongoing epidemic of obesity that we are experiencing, our teams of researchers are working every day to improve health and change the world.
