Dear Brown Alumni,
What an amazing Reunion Weekend! A huge thanks to all of the incredible alumni, parents, families, and community members who made the trip to College Hill this past Memorial Day weekend. It’s been 14 years since my own Commencement—and I’ve processed at least 8 times thereafter—and it never gets old!
Congratulations to the Class of 2023. Your class was among those faced with the unprecedented challenges posed by the pandemic, yet you persevered and you’ve achieved that hard-earned accomplishment of completing your Brown education.
Welcome to the amazing Brown alumni community—we’re so glad you’re here!
And last I want to give a huge shoutout to Brown Alumni Association President Carlos Lejnieks ’00, who addressed the Class of 2023 during this year’s Baccalaureate service. The end of June marks the end of Carlos’s incredible service to the University as BAA president. It has been such a privilege and pleasure to work so closely with him, and I am deeply grateful for all that he has contributed to Brown through this incredibly important role.
Ever True,
Zack Langway ’09, Vice President for Alumni Relations
