Dear Brown Parents,
Over the past year, President Paxson has brought together members of the Brown community to provide input as her administration develops a strategic plan to guide the University in the years ahead. The plan, Building on Distinction, will be voted on by the Corporation at its October, 2013, meeting.
We hope to see you at Family Weekend. Truly a highlight of the Brown parent experience, it’s a great opportunity to visit the campus in the midst of the busy fall semester, meet President Paxson, take advantage of the wonderful programming, and spend quality time with your child. In addition, we invite you to visit the Parents Annual Fund website, which features links to University news and events, and other general information.
And amidst all of that activity, Brown welcomed the Class of 2017! Please see how this class, comprised of students from all corners of the country and world, is already coming together in the first-year sky photo time lapse video.
Best wishes to you and your family in the semester ahead.
Sincerely,
James T. Janover ’86, P’15 and Marcy A. Sandler ’86, P’15
