Campus Dance 2007
Dance the night away at one of Brown's best-loved Reunion/Commencement traditions. The evening brings together graduating seniors and their families, alumni of all ages, and Brown faculty and staff. Everyone enjoys meeting old classmates, seeing favorite professors, and being with friends and family. The Dance ends with the Senior Sing.

Field Day 2007
Alumni Field Day at Erickson Field is the best time to catch up with friends under your class tents. It's also a great time for children to play games and enjoy ice-cream, story-telling, sports and a musical performance by Dave Binder.

Commencement Procession 2007
Over 6,000 marchers walked through the Van Wickle Gates at the 238th Brown University Commencement Ceremonies. Families and friends cheered on the graduating class in Brown's most cherished celebration of the weekend.

Arts Education and the Transformation of a City

Providence has been heralded repeatedly over the past decade as becoming among the most livable cities in the country. The vibrant arts scene in particular has been credited with bringing about significant change in the city. Directors of four nationally-recognized arts organizations discuss the Providence renaissance with a specific focus on the role of the arts in transforming the lives of urban youth.

This panel discussion will highlight the efforts of several alumni and their pursuits in the public and private sectors to ensure a sustainable global environment for generations to come.

How do athletes sustain their focus? How do coaches inspire victory? What messages and lessons can you use to teach yourself and your children? This panel will discuss these questions and others surrounding the concept of “winning” and building a winning attitude, both on the field and in life.

Commencement Forums
Presented by the University's Continuing College, this annual celebration of scholarship ranges from performances to discussions to lectures given by faculty, guest speakers and even members of returning Alumni. We've chosen two great lectures from this year.

President Simmons' Philanthropic Leaders Address
Brown philanthropic leaders and volunteer leaders gathered at Starr Plaza in the Watson Institute for an annual reception on Friday, May 26, 2006. Matt Mallow '64 P'02, University Trustee and Campaign Co-Chair, introduced President Ruth Simmons.
